More Unusual Animal Prints on Handbags

Filed under: Uncategorized — kallmond at 1:26 pm on Thursday, May 12, 2011

As a follow-up to my earlier blog, another unusual but exotic animal print that is showing up more and more is the snakeskin print.  One of my personal favorites for its exotic yet stunning appearance, these handbags are definitely not to be missed.  When combined with the right colors and textures, they are actually some of the more stunning bags on my Site.  Some designers carry this design one step further by choosing a particular snake that inspires them.  An example of this is the Python print handbag.  Well ladies what do you think?  Is the snakeskin for you?  Check out my Site and decide for yourselves.

Unusual Animal Prints on Handbags

OK, it’s official, the animal print has definitely made a comeback.  From New York to Milan, the 2011 runways were filled with animal prints, animal pictures, animal paintings, and even live animals themselves.  While most people think of leopard, tiger, zebra, and even giraffe when thinking of fashion and animal print, I doubt ANYONE would consider an ostrich a likely candidate for an animal print design.  But, believe it or not, www.stylishleatherhandbags.com actually has ostrich print handbags.  These unusual but stylish handbags are made out of a leathery material with small to large bumps (think of really large chicken skin).  Check out this newest trend and more at my website.  Sound like something you would like?  Let me know what you think.

Wallets or No Wallets?

Filed under: Veteran advice needed — kallmond at 12:00 pm on Monday, April 11, 2011

Here I am back again with another question for my shopping public.  My last question (which has yet to get a response) dealt with selling non-leather products on my leather website.  This one deals with a very similar issue.  Should I sell leather wallets on my leather handbag website?  Oh, these questions that plague the new website owner:).  I have actually had people ask if I was going to sell wallets and I think it’s a pretty good idea but it all goes back to the same question.  Would people be disappointed if the come to a handbag website and see wallets?  I, personally, don’t think so but some of my coaches tend to lean the other way.  They are more of the mindset that if your website says it sells leather handbags then that is the only item you should have on there.  I see their point to a certain extent but I see my point too (of course I do, it’s my point).  Come on, shoppers, lend me your voice.  I could use a little help here.

Welcome to my business blog!

Filed under: Veteran advice needed — kallmond at 11:21 pm on Wednesday, April 6, 2011

I have just recently completed my first version of my website and I could really use some advice from some veteran shoppers out there. The name of my website is StylishLeatherHandbags.com and, while I have lots of beautiful and unique leather handbags, I have also come across some “must have” handbags that are not leather. One major line of these include theme/celebrity handbags. What would you think if you visited a “leather handbag” website and there were non-leather handbags on it. I do specify when the handbags are non-leather, but I just wonder if I should leave them off altogether. Any and all comments would be greatly appreciated.
